Born Albert Jeffrey Houston, growing up everyone called him Jeff and now goes by AJ, a Resident of Fort Worth, Texas by way of Dallas, Texas. Father, Author, Poet, Motivational Speaker, Event Coordinator and Host, Creative Writing Facilitator and Founder of the Psychology of Writing Institute. He believes writing is fun to mental, it is the exercise of the mind. He prides himself in the ability to connect to youth in workshops, no matter the setting. Believes he can sing at least a little bit.

The important things are his seeds, trying to reconnect with his daughters Shanttel and Shayla whom he loves dearly and stay connected with other loves of his life in this order Tremel, Brittany, Nicholas, Dominique, Alexander, Jimmie II…  family is of the greatest importance, how can you show love and respect to teach youth you don’t know if you do not love and respect your own first. Words are a gift that must be shared and practiced to become skillful. Pens are weapons when used incorrectly.
